You're kidding, eh?

It was not a good game. The only reason it qualified as being"watchable" was because you're a limey who wanted to support your team. Like I'm a Canuck who wanted Canada to win. I saw much better games. The one that preceded it Japan/Oz was far more exciting from a soccer standpoint. Get that, eh? Whistle Whistle Whistle

The other England games were not very good and as I've already said, I'm not interested in women's football so why would I go out of my way to watch other countries games? Especially when they're kicking off at 7 -10 pm or even 12.30am which England v Canada was but it stayed up because I was entertained.

Compared to previous ENGLAND games, this was a brilliant end to end game which could have gone either way.

I've watched two games. They were both terrible.

So you admit that Canada was a bit unlucky, eh??? Whistle Whistle

Btw. It started at 8:30 p.m.........................in PEI. Laugh

Could have gone either way but didn't Big Grin

BTW the women's team are being compared to the Italia 90 and 66 squads. Bit too far if you ask me

Yep definitely a bit much.  I don't remember anyone with a charltonesque 'comb over' but maybe they were on the bench wearing a beanie.

The charlton is now a traditional lesbian haircut which was sported by 2 of the female expert analysers on the beeb

As soon as you use the word "soccer," your credibility is shot to shit!

RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Statesideowl - 30-06-2015

I'd like to see a England V USA final just for shits and giggles. The sporty girls around here are big on football and I know a few guys taking interest purely because of 'Murica taking part.

MS, you become desensitised to the term "Soccer" after so many years, after the initial irritation you have to let it go. They cannot comprehend that a football isn't something you throw 50Yrds forwards for someone else to catch Doh

Whilst I get that, you lose credibility on a Wednesday Football Forum for forgetting that it is football that we are talking about.
