RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Statesideowl - 04-03-2025 Unfortunately, I think that might be the only way out. A bit like Rangers when they tried to force Mike Ashley out and the ensuing administration. Chansiri is exactly the type of owner we've seen destroy clubs in the past. Another problem with this man is his vindictive nature. We can't guarantee he wouldn't grind the club in to dust out of spite for the fans. So, in a way we've nothing to lose but as fans we'd have to stick it out for the long haul with absolute minimum financial transaction with club. No kits, no tickets, no attendance and probably not even paying to watch it online from abroad.. Going through something like that is agony as a football family RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Maddix - 04-03-2025 (04-03-2025, 15:29)Imre varadi Wrote: A long with Danny we will also lose about 10 players. It really will be a shit show with Chansiri thinking he can blame Danny to apieze the fans ..nobody will buy that this time though like the Bruce saga because he hasn't got a leg to stand on after this last transfer window ! Danny is well within his right to want to work in a healthy environment not a poisonous shit smelling stench of one. The only way I see Chansiri giving up his money laundering is fans just stop going altogether and we go in administration and pub league 2 I've said it for years ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Maddix - 05-03-2025 (04-03-2025, 18:57)Statesideowl Wrote: Unfortunately, I think that might be the only way out. I spend as much on Wednesday as Deaf John spends on me ![]() ![]() RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Statesideowl - 05-03-2025 https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/southampton-set-to-avoid-danny-rohl-hurdle-in-sheffield-wednesday-raid/ Reduced compensation for a Championship team. That'll be peanuts for Southampton with their EPL money. RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Imre varadi - 05-03-2025 He's off there is no too ways about it. Chansiri can do 2 things now ... 1.offer him a better contract along with all his staff and promise under contract terms how much money Rohl asks for In the summer transfer window also along with a back up for the winter transfer window . Or as this won't happen ! 2. Get a manager in place for the summer pre season with only about 5 players in contract worth keeping . So it will definitely be number 2 !!! There is a number 3 option and that's kidnap all the players family's through his laundering mafia friends and threaten them unless they get promotion !!! RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Statesideowl - 06-03-2025 We're that club again which loses its assets rather than having the ability to retain them. Chansiri is still the same guy who told fans to chip in and buy their own players last summer because he's not doing it. The same guy that said it isn't his job to find a buyer for the club and that it isn't the fans business regarding the future of Wednesday as its his Club lmao The dictator should go in to politics as a Labour candidate. He's the correct measure of bastard required. RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Maddix - 06-03-2025 When Thatcher was first elected I had a badge that I proudly wore saying 'Don't blame me, I voted Labour'. How times have changed ![]() ![]() RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Owlkev71 - 10-03-2025 I know we are 16 points clear of the relegation zone, but here are the remaining fixtures for the bottom 3: Plymouth PORTSMOUTH (A) DERBY (H) WATFORD (A) NORWICH (H) SWANSEA (A) BLADES (H) MIDDLESBORO (A) COVENTRY (H) PRESTON (A) LEEDS (H) Luton CARDIFF (A) MIDDLESBORO (H) HULL (A) LEEDS (H) STOKE (A) BLACKBURN (H) DERBY (A) BRISTOL CITY (H) COVENTRY (H) WBA (A) Derby COVENTRY (H) PLYMOUTH (A) PRESTON (H) SWANSEA (A) BURNLEY (H) PORTSMOUTH (A) LUTON (H) WBA (A) HULL (A) STOKE (H) RE: Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general - Statesideowl - 10-03-2025 Plymouth are gone. They're a very poor side. I can't see Luton breaking out of free fall either. Derby might be the only one of the three with a chance. Would love to see them go down though after what they did to us.
