RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - SomersetBaggie - 02-08-2018 (02-08-2018, 16:08)Beefy 1965 Wrote: #wba are closing in on a season-long loan deal for Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioyo. More @ExpressandStar soon. Do not know anything about this guy, it is good that we are reducing the age of the squad but I would like to see Big Dave bring some experienced players in as well. This will be the second domestic loan, how many are we allowed...I thought 2 was the limit. More @ExpressandStar soon. I think you are allowed 5 loanees in the matchday squad, I don't think there is any limit on how many you have at the club, just on how many play each game. I think you can have no more than 4 players from one club during the course of the whole season. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Blue Baggie - 02-08-2018 I have gotten to the point where it is simply BD opinion on who we are buying and/or loaning. I'm with him 110% replacing the overpaid, under performing players from last season. I can't see the quality or experience in his signings, but he knows what he's doing. I still think some more of our players will leave before the window closes - we are still in a dodgy position with the European window closing after ours. We can only back BD all the way and let the results decide what the new season holds for us. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Stairs - 03-08-2018 From the ELF Website: The window will now close for permanent transfers from another club on Thursday 9th August 2018 at 5pm, which is aligned with the decision the Premier League opted to take in September 2017. In addition, EFL clubs will still be able to: Sign players on Standard Loan up to the 31st August 2018 Sign players on Standard Loan up to 31st August 2018 with an option to agree a permanent transfer when the next window opens RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (3 Aug) Championship Rebuild - Beefy 1965 - 03-08-2018 James Morrison has signed a new one-year contract with #wba with an extra 12 months in his favour. He is eligible to play tomorrow. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (3 Aug) Championship Rebuild - Salopbaggie - 03-08-2018 Great news, slowly starting to take shape still need another 3 or 4, if no one else leaves. Matt Wilson this morning pointed out to Big D we haven't really spent anything his response..... !! Moore defends question over 'modest' spending. "I feel that the ingredients are already in the building. We're happy with the squad, but still looking to add one or two more." #wba RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (3 Aug) Championship Rebuild - WBA-Josh - 03-08-2018 I’m pleased with the new contract for Morrison. On his day he can be a level above the Championship but we haven’t seen it enough over the past 18 months. I hope he can keep his fitness going and not get any more injuries next season. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (3 Aug) Championship Rebuild - Blue Baggie - 03-08-2018 Mozza signing is great news, fingers crossed he stays fit. DM still needs another couple of number 10's Go get Bradley Dack !!! never mind one in one out, just do it, who's running the show Jenkins? or DM. |
