RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (23 July) - talkSAFT - 24-07-2017 I don't get how Smalling's value is only 10, while Gibson was rejected at 20. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (23 July) - Baggievicar - 24-07-2017 Should give West Ham ample time to stick in (rather than prepare) a bid for £11m. It doesn't make much sense but Gibson is a fair bit younger and his club actually wants to keep him, let's see what happens with Smalling anyway, I'd be very happy with him but I'm not yet convinced we'll get him or that they'd accept 10m. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 July) - Stairs - 24-07-2017 Get a feeling something big will happen this week. Typical as I will be away on a small holiday with the children and now will have to take laptop to stay in touch RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 July) - talkSAFT - 24-07-2017 Have a great small holiday, Stairs ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 July) - Stairs - 24-07-2017 (24-07-2017, 18:12)talkSAFT Wrote: Have a great small holiday, StairsHa ha. Well it is. My daughters both do German language and history and so we are having slightly more than a long weekend in Berlin to do the tourist bit. The alcohol and food binge will be in Italy, back end of August with friends and no children. Pass the Nurofen Meltlets - I swear they are the best thing on this planet when it comes to recovery! RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 July) - BaggieMan - 25-07-2017 Anyone going to the friendly against Burton Albion on Wednesday? I went to Staffs & West Midlands Army Cadet Force 'Friends' meeting this evening and one of the fellow trustee's is the partner of Ben Robinson, Burtons chairman, and knowing I was a Baggie, they have invited me and t' missus to the game and pre-match meal. Probably be in the boardroom so I'll keep my ear to the ground might get a spippet or two if any Baggies execs are there. On the other hand, it might be a pie and bovril on t' terraces! ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 July) - Sir Megson - 25-07-2017 (25-07-2017, 00:01)BaggieMan Wrote: Anyone going to the friendly against Burton Albion on Wednesday? It's Walsall for me tomorrow night, couldn't really miss it as it's our closest away game of the season... I'd imagine you'll see more first team players than me BaggieMan, most likely to be the kids that get the run out against Walsall. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (24 July) - Beefy 1965 - 25-07-2017 So where are these two signings we were about to get over the line by the time we landed back in the country ? I got so excited when TP said that, I haven't eaten a thing since then and not going too until they sign someone Long wait ........................ ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (25 July) - Stairs - 25-07-2017 Defender link but just reading the article and with mentions of £30m I don't see why the papers are suggesting we could be interested. I t's like me standing outside the Aston Martin dealership. Not worth reporting and far from me actually owning one, evening if I conned them into test drive. |
