Bungles done it again along with Huddershit he's showing the way in how to get relegated asap! He'll want 2 seasons now to get Port vale back to the same spot of trouble they e just faced today ..exactly like us ! The players he gets are just awful with no technical abilities whatsoever it's either headless chickens or battering rams.

He's a poor manager, there's no two ways about it.
I think he'd be good as someone's assistant but not the man making the decisions. He lacks the vision or ability.

The absolute state of the game.
Neville trying to pretend the cheating isn't happening.. Especially after that Coventry VAR goal disallowed.

Never mind the Staffordshire referee and Huddersfield linesman for us against Stoke Doh

That Coventry goal was offside, VAR showed that and there is no debate there. Had VAR not been involved like in the old days, then we would have been sat in a pub listening to MU fans complaining about it being offside, instead we are sat in a pub complaining about VAR correctly giving the offside, either way we are complaining about a decision.

For me the question is what should VAR look at, we have the technology these days so how should it be used? Also we should look at the offside laws, was the Coventry players trying to gain an advantage? You could argue that as he was offside according to the laws then yes he was, but is this in the spirit of the game when its that close or even how we want the game to be played?

In the Coventry case, the refs are not the problem. The goal was given by the ref, no way he could have seen it accurately anyway and the VAR showed the player was offside by the smallest of margins. The refs did exactly what they should have done.

I haven’t seen the Forest ones though so can’t comment on the validity of their rant but their rant doesn’t help and is childish in the extreme. Again we have seen these debates at every game we have ever been to, a foul not given, a penalty that wasn’t, a handball that the ref ignored etc etc. But the minute you claim a ref made those decisions because of who he supports you have lost your argument!! I think refs make bad decisions, they always have and always will, they are human but they get far more right than they get wrong. Forest should be blaming their striker who missed the sitter or their keeper who spilled a shot, that’s why they lose games, not the refs.

The problem is that regardless of technology, those chosen to make the decisions will always decide in the favour of the big boys or more favoured Club in whichever given instance.
Humans are corruptable, it's unavoidable, especially when some of these decisions have big money riding on them. Or if an official starts making the wrong decisions against a big club they'll find themselves with 'performance review'

If it were Manure that scored a last minute winner you can almost guarantee that those in the VAR room would have found in their favour and the goal would stand. That is a disproportionately larger problem over any rules or technology.

"Offside by the smallest of margins" can and will easily be interpreted as Onside by the smallest margins for the 'right' Club, you're missing the point entirely. It's this subjectivity which opens the portal for corruption
It's no coincidence that officiating is poor against a particular team and not both in general. This can be seen if enough attention is paid.
It's naive to act as if it isn't happening.
Especially given the magnitude and volume of the 'incompetence'.
Clubs and players will always receive punishment for making petulant remarks about those in power as it shows a lack of professionalism, but more importantly casts a light on any dubious decisions that have influenced games.
We've seen enough of our own games influenced by blatantly dodgy officiating. So much so we had to send Barry to talk to Webb!!! This made things worse for us, I wonder why...

Yes, like us Forest are crap. Can't score and leak goals and that's why both clubs deserve to be where they are.
That doesn't mean officials can influence games against you to make it easier for the bigger teams who might be having an 'off' day. Giving the big clubs all the 50/50s and every benefit of the doubt.
I don't know how it's possible to conclude these officials are blameless.. The recent example of Chris Kavanagh officiating our game against Norwich.
As soon as we pulled ourselves back in to the game he started making ridiculous decisions to favour and protect Norwich. This was evident to most people as his refereeing turned more aggressive towards one team, Wednesday..

I don't believe the officials are necessarily fans of other clubs, I do believe they're corrupt and towing the line for the sake of their own careers.
As an example. The Staffordshire officials for our match with Stoke. They might not be Stoke fans or even affiliated with any Staffordshire club in any capacity but it's still a conflict of interest and should not be happening for the sake of sporting integrity.
There's plenty of stooges available to avoid these situations so why is it still happening when it rightfully calls in to question the ability for officials to be impartial?
Any officials from South Yorkshire officiating our games?? Nope!
This has all been happening for a few seasons now and to be completely oblivious to it is quite remarkable.

Forest should've asked for the audio recording in the var room before they released any statements.

Leeds score an offside goal against Boro tonight... If Used, even VAR couldn't manipulate it's way around this one Laugh

Born in Oxford, and has taken charge of us on 12 occasions, winning 7, drawing 1 and losing 4. 6 of those wins have come in the last 8 games.

No. just what I’ve read on OT. But in amongst the posts there is what seems like a sensible ITFC guy indicating it might have some legs because of links to their owners but who knows. In reality with M&A things aren’t usually public until the last minute.
