RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Beefy 1965 - 31-07-2018 Myhill has turned up at chasetown tonight guys for the u-23's If your on twitter follow chasetown FC for updates and you may see things like this ![]() Myhill the West Brom keeper has a nightmare in the opening 8mins of the games with a straight forward kick out being miss kicked and the ball trickles into the goal. Chasetown 1 @WBA U23s 0 RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Beefy 1965 - 01-08-2018 RB from Yeovil bid accepted ! ? | We can confirm a club record bid for defender Tom James has been accepted. #YTFC ? https://t.co/nTTuSqHceX RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Baggie_One - 01-08-2018 https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/yeovil-town-accept-record-bid-1848012 https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2018/08/01/yeovil-town-accept-west-broms-400k-bid-for-tom-james/ RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Salopbaggie - 01-08-2018 Does anyone else get the feeling, looking at our signings and the way things are progressing, that the 'powers to be' are actually building a squad to mount a challenge for next season rather than this coming one. A lot of our signings show a great deal of potential/promise, but is it fair to think they will immediately gel and develop into players who can mount a challenge at this level overnight, I just get the feeling they are building this squad for the season after this, if they can achieve anything this season good on them. So if he doesn't want to come here let's move on ... RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Salopbaggie - 01-08-2018 (01-08-2018, 12:25)Beefy 1965 Wrote: On twitter the NE correspondent says Gayle wants to stay at Newcastle, nothing about wages.. To be fair to Gayle he has been saying he wants to stay at Newcastle since these reports first started, I even commented on it, on this thread back on the 25th of last month, so it is not like that fact has not been known by both clubs for at least a week or two, like stated above, he does not want to come so we need to move on, 'Clocks-a-Ticking'. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Slick_Footwork - 01-08-2018 I'm struggling to understand some of the reports about the deal for Rondon. "Agreement can't be reached" etc. I was under the impression that he had a relegation clause in his contract that allowed him to leave for circa £16.5m. If this is the case, surely there wouldn't be any negotiation to be done. The bid comes and he's free to go, simple as that. So does all this talk mean Newcastle aren't willing to meet that clause? Or is the clause simply media BS? Something here doesn't add up - especially as Newcastle should have cash after the sale of Mitrovic. Or maybe they need to get rid of Gayle to free up funds for wages. All seems a bit of an illogical mess to me. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - Worldclassalbion - 01-08-2018 These days players are like cars. Pay a deposit and the rest over years of instalments. Actually makes you wonder where all this so called money actually is? Rondon will tear the championship up. Keep him I say. RE: WBA 2018/19 Xfer Window - (29 July) Championship Rebuild - WBA-Josh - 01-08-2018 Graeme Jones is in. https://www.wba.co.uk/news/2018/august/albion-confirm-jones-appointment/ |
