RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (14 July) - Slick_Footwork - 14-07-2017 Good balance with the 2 signings if they come off. One experienced pro who knows the Premier League and a younger, potential player to ease into the side. At 6"5, could be a potential long term replacement for McAuley? RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (14 July) - Sir Megson - 14-07-2017 (14-07-2017, 23:05)Slick_Footwork Wrote: Good balance with the 2 signings if they come off. My thoughts exactly Slick - not really breaking the bank for either player and I rate Ranocchia highly. Let just hope these will be over the line sooner rather than later. Wilshere would be a superb replacement for Fletcher too and would offer us much more going forward. Also hoping there's some truth to that speculation! RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (14 July) - Beefy 1965 - 15-07-2017 I know its You Tube but he does look useful wins everything in the air Suppose he will be our top goalscorer next season with set piece Tone ![]() https://t.co/CrBjDa8S3r RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (14 July) - Worldclassalbion - 15-07-2017 I haven't seen anywhere where we are linked with Wiltshire? Any links? RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (14 July) - 4evaabaggie - 15-07-2017 News Now suggesting we should try again for Ruddy Gestede .......... I say why?. As villas striker, they were relegated, moved to Boro, as their striker, they were relegated ....... Again I say why, why would we want him, he obviously does not score enough goals at this level and the defensive style of football we play how many would he score ....... not enough. Let's put this rumour to bed once and for all. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (14 July) - Beefy 1965 - 16-07-2017 Medical Monday ............. Google translation of the statement on the Al-Ahli website Ahmed Hijazi, the player first team football club Al-Ahli, miss the next meeting Zamalek in the final round of the Premier League, and set her next Monday, for its association with a medical examination of the club «West Bromwich» English. For his part, Captain Hossam Al-Badri, coach of the team stressed that «Hijazi» came out of the coaching staff accounts to match the next summit, because of its association with the date of the medical examination with the English club, in preparation for the completion of loan procedures for the ranks of the English club from the start of next season. The club agreed to offer West Bromwich England, at the request to borrow Ahmed Hijazi for a season, starting next season, according to the presentation material received Ahli, and agree with the player's desire to leave Looks like it is pretty much a done deal. So we have paid €9 million (our sixth biggest signing fee) for a player who Transfer Markt rate at £595K. We sign him on a three year deal, we then loan him out for two of those three years. I understand that he cannot get a work permit to play in the UK and is seen as a player for the future, but how is he a player for the future, for us anyway? If he blossoms into an amazing player he only has to wait a year and he can leave on a free. If he does not come good, we have spent €9 millionon a player currently not even rated at 600k. Anyone make any sense of that for me ![]() ![]() ![]() The South China Post have had a good go mind: http://www.scmp.com/sport/soccer/article/2101220/chinese-player-zhang-yunings-move-english-premier-league-side-west-brom |
