Given a run in the team he would have proved to be one of the best defenders we've had in years.

The additions of Fletcher, which I'm still sceptical about, we'll see won't we? And Abdi, along with Dave Jones the second isn't enough. Oh and that 3rd Keeper we need for some reason?
It's still lacklustre for a Club with loft ambitions.
2 weeks I keep hearing about the transfer window. We'll be 5-6 games into the season by then with players that don't know each other.
Sorry, it just isn't good enough. That is slow progress at best. It's not about 'Warm bodies' either that's a weak sauce argument because we've had since the back end of last season to sort this out.
I'm not the only one questioning the background activity at S6. You can troll through various media and find more than a minority thinking "WTF?"
Yes Burton was a hard loss to take with almost comical errors, bad luck and incompetence. However, I think the first 2 results of the season may have veiled the trouble we're truly in.
One goal from open play in 3 games?
I'm starting to think we need a Director Of Football. Someone has to find Clubs for all this shit piling up on our bench, its laughable. At the same time they can recruit FFS.

HITC (cough) claim Braga have released Sasso so looks like he may be back by tomorrow.
Knows most of the players and systems already so good cover at least especially if he can toughen up a bit.
Nice to see that the league rearranged the cardiff game to avoid the Sunday - Tuesday clash again.

Not quick enough for me, but finally. This is circulating.
"Vincent Sasso will be Wednesday's seventh signing of the summer. Should be confirmed within the next day or two. Will be a permanent deal and a free transfer after he had his Braga contract terminated today.
So our four centre backs for the season will be Lees, Hutchinson, Loovens and Sasso, all of whom are expected to be fully fit within the next 7 days."
I wouldn't rely on Hutchinson as a CB for the season. And Loovens needs to stay injury free too. We really only have two IMO.
