RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - talkSAFT - 20-12-2014 1967 revisited RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - WillieJohnstonsGreenhouse - 20-12-2014 Valera is class. Good football Dunno what Bagpuss said at half time but they look a different team. We still look the better though - this is when we need to start killing teams off Bera on for Ideye (who I thought did well but needs feeding chances which we don't seem to do) The next 20mins or so could be massive - come on Albion Will someone else say something? cunse RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - wba_1996 - 20-12-2014 Absolutely unacceptable, there is something very very wrong with this club. It is disgusting how we are completely unable to ever hold on to a 2-0 lead. Losing from that position is a joke. Can't be arsed anymore. RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - Stairs - 20-12-2014 Rediculous - we must make a change of management! My QPR mate will be stunned that they escaped with 3 points today. We looked at the end of season 5 games and agreed West Brom need points NOW. This is totally unacceptable!!!!' He got us playing some good football and we give it away. This isn't new, it's been happening for too many seasons. QPR were there for the taking and we rolled over with our arses in the air. Happy Christmas RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - WBA-Josh - 20-12-2014 There was nothing wrong with the management today apart from choosing little attacking options on the bench. The problem is the players and they're switching off when we have a 2 or more goal lead. It has been happening ever since Hodgson left. The fuckers deserve a real bollocking in the dressing room for throwing this away. An in-form Man City next at home. It's going to be tough. RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - silverbaggie - 20-12-2014 Merry Xmas Alan Oh by the way, here's your P45 ![]() RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - Slick_Footwork - 20-12-2014 We're on a hiding to nothing with this manager. The 4 points against a very poor Hull and a 10 man Villa at home didn't disguise the fact to me. How on earth can Dorrans and Gardner keep being picked? They've been treading water all season. Not good enough to execute simple balls and keep the ball under no pressure. It's no surprise we can't keep a lead with Championship players in the middle of the park. Gardner at least puts a shift in defensively but I just don't see the point in Dorrans. It's obvious from Irvine's interview in the week that he doesn't base his selections on what happens on match day. I think it's criminal Saido isn't being picked. I said it the last 2 games and again tonight. This 'taking him out of the pressure' is BS. We're in a relegation fight and can't afford for our best player to be sat on the bench. I know, let's have a free pass to the Championship because the only guy we have who is anywhere near capable of getting into double figures is getting some media attention. We play no football, can't defend set plays, have most of our better footballers sat on the bench. I'm sick of us losing to inferior teams week in and week out. With a squad like ours, the blame can only go to Irvine when a team containing the likes of Karl Henry, Joey Barton and Clint Hill can beat us. Absolutely pathetic. RE: WBA Xmas/New Year Thread - WillieJohnstonsGreenhouse - 20-12-2014 You put it so much better than me Josh but that's what I meant to say |
