RE: To alleviate the boredom - Devongone - 21-03-2020 Will you do us another one SGB, doesn't have to be that style, we'll trust you now that the case is coming up about cross-dressing in the library in order to panic-lend books? It was great! Did you do the stupid ones I put up? Were they any good or just rubbish? Maybe they didn't make sense? I felt as though my brain had been temporarily been invaded by a whole new pattern of thought. Hamlet and Macbeth aren't lugubrious - teachers are! I'd start anyone on The Tempest myself. I've seen several Shakespeares produced by Parachute - any student from early teens onwards would have been engaged. Spine-tingling. Snoots would have been hooked! At least they must have made some kind of strange sense …… and I wasn't just having a fugue! Nobody got the first one. Snoots didn't have hope as he is not a Chesterfield fan, but aspires is a clue. European Space Agency? No? Twin town, no? Darmstadt! And Number 4, I don't think Hamilton was an economist even though he was President. My answer was MKD - Milton Friedman, Maynard Keynes and Dons. But I might have to give you Hamilton. I enjoyed doing Huddersfield and Halifax but am now checking into the Priory, for observation! Come on Salts now you've messed with my head you owe us another one! RE: To alleviate the boredom - SaltergateBorn - 22-03-2020 Is no.1 Eintracht? I can sort of see the tracht bit for space, but I`m struggling with the first bit. RE: To alleviate the boredom - Dancingwilldoit - 22-03-2020 No1 has to be Bayern Munich. Ba Yearn - Moon itch. Darmstadt ?????? Hamilton was more the Academical bit. RE: To alleviate the boredom - SaltergateBorn - 22-03-2020 Give me chance, Dev. My clapped-out old grey cells need time to grind into gear these days; I was a lot younger when I thought up the last lot. I`ve still got a load of the quiz questions I used somewhere, but they`re not really any good here; there`s virtually nothing you can`t google in about 10 seconds flat these days. |
