Good performance against a poor side, special mention to Harper a good performance in a more forward role to sawyers with Livermore playing deeper. Conor Townsend is going to take some shifting now excellent performance again .
Defence starting to look solid with 4 clean sheets in 6 matches and hardly any shots on target. Boing Boing

Meant to say something up with Austin at the end of match, he stormed down the tunnel without acknowledging anyone.

Hegazi, Ajayi, O’Shea and Townsend had the Preston attack in their pockets.

Midfield bossed the game Harper and Livermore were immense.

HRK looks like he’s been bitten by a radio active spider.

And then you’ve got our dream team behind him supplying the killer passes and fancy party tricks.

Please pinch me.

Charlie Austin didn’t look pleased near the end when in the box & Krivinovic did step overs and shot over the bar.
Can imagine he’ll be looking for more minutes on the pitch too but every player should be wanting to be out there, especially when things are going so well. Difficult to displace any of the current starting XI at the moment though.

Well, that's 6 points and no goals conceded in what could easily have been a tricky few days against 2 teams going well.

Fantastic week so far - Leeds dropping points tonight would be the icing on the cake!

How was Harper last night?

RE: WBA vs Bristol City & Preston - wba13 - 26-02-2020

Harper was excellent for me , Bilic slightly tweaked the system by bringing Livermore deeper and playing Harper in front of him. It worked well it’s just that we have got used to see Livermore lung busting runs forward of late, but he could only do that a couple of times last night. Mind you one lead to his goal. Harper very tidy and got around the pitch also hit the bar with a great effort in the 90th min. All in all a very comfortable night where we did not have to get out of 2nd gear.

Not seen that much of him admittedly but I've always thought he looks good - comfortable with the ball, works 'ard, and a good physical presence.
Hope he gets a bit of a run in RS' s absence and makes himself difficult to drop.
