RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - Players Released - Baggievicar - 29-05-2019 Look on the bright side - failing to get promoted means we shouldn't have any chance of signing Andy Carroll. It's not as black and white as that - have the seals paid for Chester yet? Have Stoke paid for McClean? Monaco certainly haven't paid all the fee for Chadli yet. Hence we do owe money, but we are owed a lot more. I think Chester and McClean were straight deals not sure about how the Chadli was structured, though I thought usually if a buyout clause is triggered it has to be paid up front, of course you are right though, that it is not that straight forward. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - Players Released - Baggiebob(BBB) - 31-05-2019 (21-05-2019, 20:58)Salopbaggie Wrote: Celtic apparently entertaining Harper with the VIP tour after their Scottish Premiership win, of course as an 'international' club they would only have to pay £235,000 in compensation. Albion have apparently tabled RH another, "take it or leave it" offer. HE SOUNDS LIKE ANOTHER BERAHINO - HOPE HE DOESN'T COCK UP HIS CAREER... SAYING THAT WHO WOULD HAVE BERAHINO BACK AGAIN IF HE BEHAVES? Thorne, Roberts ,Berahino ,Izzy brown ,Jerome Sinclair,,and roofe there are others, take mega money and move to other clubs how many have made a name for themselves, for me they are not ambitious all there after is the money. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - Players Released - Slick_Footwork - 03-06-2019 I would be more than happy for Rodriguez to go if the right money comes in. The guy still is a great pro, has tremendous work rate and a decent shot butt his all round play leaves a lot to be desired. His passing and link up is particularly poor. If you take away his penalties last season, he was hardly prolific. And isn't getting any younger either. The fact both Rodriguez and Rondon will go is why I'm so confused about why that moron Dowling released the statement about not signing Gayle previously. Surely if you sell Rondon and Rodriguez for circa £28m, you would be happy to spend £10-£12m on Gayle as he's the one striker absolutely guaranteed to get goals at this level. IMO it would make sense to sell Rondon and Rodriguez for circa £28m and then invest £10-£12m in Gayle and £2-3m on a younger player, probably from abroad as back up. If anything, we would probably see a better balance up top than what we had this season. Unfortunately the clowns running the club don't see the value in Gayle despite the fact he's head and shoulders above the rest of the strikers in this division. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - Players Released - Beefy 1965 - 03-06-2019 Chester and McLean weren't straight up deals, neither was Saido We are still owed money When Villa were almost in the poo last year they couldn't fork out money on a lot of players , in that list from the express and star we were still owed 2 million for Chester and only 4 was paid up front for Chadli The club can lull you into things like this but not tell you what we are owed so we don't expect nowt. Problem is we don't anyway. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - Players Released - Beefy 1965 - 06-06-2019 Pushing the boat out ??? Gloucestershire Live claim that 17 yo Cirencester Town forward Owen Windsor is close to agreeing a deal with WBA. He scored 6 goals in 7 Southern League Division One South starts. He has been monitored closely by Chelsea scouts, but is apparently set for a move to Albion. #WBA https://t.co/6KShyx4p6I |
