You know how many openly gay male tennis players there are in the top 250? Zero! The last male gay Grand Slam winner was? Bill Tilden, who won 10 slams I think. And though the perception of female tennis players is that loads of them are lesbian, I can only think of one who is out of the closet and I've forgotten her name, but she's Belgian and played well at Wimbledon. And it's a long name like von something or other.

We've got a long way to go. But it'll be great when someone's sexuality is just another question, like do they like paella?

It is, but we've still got racist chanting and monkey calls at games, Brighton still have to answer homophobic chants, Spurs and their opponents still have the word Yid on the tip of their tongues. On the other hand kids these days will have a couple of gay friends and black friends ....... who to them are simply just their friends (which is as it should be).
