Great battling performance and yes, backs to the wall, but still looked like we could nick something.
Makes the dropped points all the more disappointing when we can go to Anfield and stop probably one of the most potent attacking players from scoring.
More of the same for Sunday would do nicely Thumb up

A much improved performance, considering the opposition, and that could prove a vital point. Still looked a bit ropey at the back and rode our luck at times, but if we can go out and do the same against Man Utd then this'll be a decent week.

We're desperate for that goalscorer though.

Was I missing something but I thought Sam Field was on the bench?
Hegazi brilliant, Yacob brilliant, Rondon brilliant in fact a great all-round performance,
Well done Baggies

Sam Field kept hold of the ball while warming up, earned a booking but used up a bit of time.

Didn't know that Sam had held the ball - thanks for the heads up. Thought old Saft had had a turn!   Laugh

On the question of time-wasting, I can't really see the point as if it is obvious, ie Fozzie and now Sam, it risks a yellow card and doesn't the referee add time back on anyway?

Huh

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
  • Liverpool are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games against West Brom (W4, D4).

  • However, Albion have scored in each of their last six league visits to Anfield, winning twice.
Oh and where can the match been seen live on TV - anyone?

Unbeaten in their last 8 games - 4 home, 4 away; presume then that we won at Anfield before the last 4 games there - in game 5 or 6??

Point being, how can Having not lost in their last 8 games against us, suddenly have Albion winning twice in their last 6 visits - It makes no sense. Huh

We must've won at Anfield 5 years ago and 6 years ago (can't remember that tho!); since that we've played each other twice a season - 8 times - so they're unbeaten in those.
I presume.

More than happy with the performance. We only had (maybe) 30% possession, but that was more because Liverpool have some smart forward players than us putting 10 behind the ball. But when we broke we broke in numbers without some twat in a cap whistling at them to get back.

It's only 1 point, though, which I'd rather have got against Swansea. However the performance has lifted the fans - we were rock-bottom on Sunday morning - and if we played as well every week we'd be above mid-table.
Well done to the fans who made the journey: they certainly made themselves heard, and they wouldn't have needed much of an excuse to blame the weather for not going.

26 more points required from 21 games. Cannot feel confident with that situation....... DD Sick Sick

Bugger Angry

Barry available for United but Chadli and Phillips won't be risked. Injury update here. #wba https://t.co/1Dcg1gT9Jh
