If Pulis thinks we'll take the game to him. does that mean we'll be an attacking team - I wish to differ. Tongue  but you never know he might have had a dream.

"We've got a home tie, irrespective of who it's against.

"It's up to us to take the game to them.

"It'll be a great game for the supporters."

So expect 11 men behind the ball for the entire game with our 2 shots of the entire game coming in the final 5 minutes when we're chasing the game.  Whistle

In all seriousness I hope we do try to take the game to Man City a little bit more than we would normally do and not just defend our way to a cup exit. We can still defend deep like we normally do but more pressing from the team when Man City have the ball in their defence and when we have the ball, pass it neatly and be as patient with it as we can. No trying to force it and giving the ball away with a cheap long ball into the channel.

Foster
Dawson - McAuley - Evans - Gibbs
Yacob - Krychowiak
Burke - Morrison - Phillips
Rodriguez

Subs
Myhill
Hegazi
Nyom
Brunt
Barry
Livermore
Robson-Kanu/Rondon

Resting Hegazi and Barry for the weekend whilst giving McAuley and Yacob much needed game time and Chadli still out because he isn't yet ready to return.

If Burke is fit I would like to see him start.

To be fair, it's already lasted about a month past its usual sell-by date.

We will probably get embarrassed by a City team with 3 first choice player, the rest made up of players with something to prove 0 - 4, Come on you Baggies, make me eat me words.

from the club site - Giving cup competitions their best has been a trait of Tony Pulis' sides, with the gaffer reaching an FA Cup Final with Stoke City and a quarter final with the Baggies in 2015.
Confused

I just hope its not about billionaires; megabuck deals; tv rights and all that codswallop...I just
hope its 11 Albion players against 11 City players and a hell of a game enjoyed by all true
footy fans regardless of the result.
