tae be fair TWG i dinnae ken any, and i underline any, hibs fans that would rather win the cup than gain promotion.admittedly there could be some. Its fans o' other clubs that seem tae be mair concerned about how long its been since we won the cup than we are ourselves.GGTTH

+ certain suspects within the Scottish media who regularly 'bang on' about it as soon as Hibs hit a positive Scottish Cup run! Whistle

No it's poles apart, the league cup maybe Mickey Mouse but in comparison to the challenge cup it's massive, then again I can see why it's important to The Rangers seeing if you win it it will be there first ever cup win.

Really? winning either competition results in nothing more than a day out at Hampden. Christ when was the last time Hampden filled for a league cup final. The only difference between the trophies is 4 sides. Maybe Hibs can have another crack at it next season.

Yes - really.

Top flight clubs play in the league cup for a start off. You should remember getting a skelping off one in that tournament this season.

Correct it's a trophy The Rangers haven't won. One thing that is important is the manner we win this league by actually competing in the cup competitions also.

No us humping you at your half empty ground was a skelping, we got beaten by St Johnstone, as i said there are only 4sides in that division, that are any different from the championship. You lot would have been poring out of the woodwork for a final regardless of the competition. I look forward to a half empty easter rd next month.

Must have been strange for a Hibee to see your ground full. Lets see how many of your fairweather mob rock up for the semi final . Speaks volumes that a second rate cup final is moved to Hampden. And the exposure generated will stand Hibs in good stead next season.
