That's quite scary, Charlie. Vile fans will believe it can't happen to them, but next season they'll need to choose a new Manager very carefully - and that's if their CEO is still in a job. Laugh

RE: Villa - 4evaabaggie - 12-03-2016

I have said many times, the football we play under TP is often dire, due to a number of reasons, but I will accept it for a couple of years if we stay in the greed league, we are balancing on a fine line, we get great results against Arsenal, man ure, Chelsea away, Everton away, should have been Chelsea and Everton at home as well then awful results / performances against vile at home, all our FA cup games etc, with a bit of support and improved transfer window we could really push on or collapse in a heap..

All in alll TP has done okay, safe in early March and with nine games to go, that must be close to a first for us. Be careful what you wish for ...... many many big clubs in the championship with history would swap places in a heartbeat, and looking at those finances it is easy to see why.

I hate the premier league, the champions league, the FA, UEFA, the media and all the other biased agencies that prop up the elite group of six at the expense of the real football clubs and fans, I remember a level playing field, a working man's game ......... but it is the place that you have to be ......... rant over before my blood pressure hits orbit.

Come on you Baggies ........ sotv

Even starting to feel sorry for the dingles and missing the BCD, our dominance over the last decade and a half has taken a little of the pleasure away, it has become like kicking a puppy but I do miss it.

RE: Villa - 4evaabaggie - 14-03-2016

That is nearly as bad as being sold for £10. That could never happen to a professional football club surely ........ hahaha

As if it was ever in doubt, today's defeat means they mathematically can't catch us this season. 37 points is the maximum they can reach now. One more defeat should effectively see them off.

Looking at Vile's fixture list, I can't see them getting any more than four points out of their last seven games. Bournemouth 1 point, Newcastle 3 points maybe. With goal difference, 13 points from safety - what a hoot !

Laugh

Being rumoured that Nigel Pearson is being lined up to replace Remi Garde!

Former Leicester boss Nigel Pearson is the front-runner to replace Remi Garde at Aston Villa with the Frenchman expected to be sacked. (Daily Mail)

Feel sorry for Garde as I think that he was/is in an impossible situation facing an impossible task. He really shouldn't have taken the job.

RE: Villa - 4evaabaggie - 21-03-2016

A poisoned chalice, with the drop in division , drop in finances, the drop in gate receipts and the drop in commercial income the next manager is / will be heading for a fall ........ for villa, going down this year could be the start of a very slippery slope, now where did I put my oil can.

Shit on the villa

RE: Villa - silverbaggie - 30-03-2016

It was inevitable............................ Garde has left (by mutual consent Tongue ).

An accident waiting to happen as is the eventual relegation of the West Midland's only BIG club. Ha!

Now who do they turn to?

Even TP couldn't save this lot! Doh
