Ah the old hopes and ambitions line gets trotted out. Every football fan has those same feelings. The only difference is some hopes are dashed more reguarly than others.

As you rightly said - it's another one of those meaningless comments/digs/riddles that this poster regularly dreams up - not worth any comment TBF! The guy is not a Hibs fan and has no qualified knowledge to comment or empathise on such an issue!! End of!

They're happy to accept it, though. It's all part of the 'small club' mentality they have and it fuels the down-trodden inferiority complexes they feed off. Just look at the ridiculous blame culture that 'west coast bias' engenders among them for evidence.
Until they accept that losing the odd game is not acceptable, they'll forever be let down by their own shortcomings.
