and the French have never forgiven the Irish for helping us to rescue them from the Germans in two consecutive World Wars  Cool

On both occasions it took them three years to decide whose side they were on  Doh Waiting to see which way the wind was blowing IMO  Angry If Adolf hadn't been so hasty and waited for the spring he'd have taken St. Petersburg and Moscow and then the yanks would have protected the dollar and gone in on his side  Doh

Slightly revised history!! Whistle  It was the Japanese that woke up the US in December 1940 and they declared war on Japan and Germany later that month, so it was only a year after it started in Europe!!  And I know all that because I saw Ben Afleck on tv when he was a fighter pilot in 1940 fighting the Japs!! Big Grin

You were the one who asked why the French hate the Irish, we are just trying to educate you!!!

I don't think the Yanks would ever have gone in wiz ze Gremans, they were just letting the wars bleed us dry so they could mop up and take over as number one country in the world! Or is that a bit simplistic?

RE: SIX NATIONS PROPER RUGBY - Imre varadi - 26-02-2016

Wales v France this afternoon the same time as the football so this could be a god send or a pain in the arse ?
