Well well. That was a good result and an excellent performance especially by Dawson, Gardner and Lescott. Maybe, just maybe, we have some green shoots growing. Lets see what Hull and Burnely games deliver before getting too excited.

Important win and gives us a bit of a buffer going into the Burnley game.

Sess and Lescott made a huge difference, Mozza and Gardner also did well in the middle of the park.

Dawson, who I've been critical of performed well too.

Still isn't the best XI IMO, but good to be up and running. Burnley will come for a draw and provide a different test, but the personnel today did well at sitting deep and breaking out. Might need more expansive options against Burnley, but onwards and upwards.

So a few days with noone moaning. I hope Whistle A really good win and deserved, Merson's prediction "Spurs win easily the banker of the week". My prediction "Merson easily the @anker of the week"

Really good win today, need to consolidate this with a win against Hull and then against Burnley. Still feel we have more to offer when the new signings are up and running
