I would have thought Lescott or Morrison would be made captain - at least they challenge for a ball and not just stand in front of the man.

Both teams look strong but 5 defenders on the bench, what. Has Dorrans gone on loan yet? Nabi on the bench would have been good too. Not delighted with the full backs either.

Ideye looks so rejuvenated. The past 7 days shows exactly how important confidence is to a striker.
So far it has been a good performance all round. Every player in the team is doing their job well and putting in a good shift. More of the same please.

If this is football under Tony Pulis I for one am very happy with it.
Defensively very sound, which is not something we hear very often. But still open to attack, use the width and are quick into attack.
I'll have this style for a few season please!
