RE: EUROS - theo_luddite - 08-06-2021 It's time of year, location and dates you actually need it for that matter. I used to get some great deals at Birmingham Airport for long weekends, say Friday to Tuesday, sometimes Wednesday, but if you wanted them for a week or longer the prices were sky high. (Pun intended ). Even with getting the train to the airport their prices were cheaper than Wolverhampton. Pity that Wakefield doesn't have an airport. Most of the time I used Green Motion but their nearest place to you is Manchester Airport and City Centre. Might be cheaper several short bookings than one long one if you can split it up.
RE: EUROS - Amelia Chaffinch - 08-06-2021 I was just wondering if our price was to do with it being December /January. RE: EUROS - WakeyTerrier - 08-06-2021 It is what it is unfortunately, I suppose it saves us a trip to T'asda for click and collect for the foreseeable future..every cloud has a silver lining and all that. Thanks for having a look though, its much appreciated. Just need someone to get banned for drink driving then we can borrow the car while they are out of action RE: EUROS - St Charles Owl - 09-06-2021 Renata cars are expensive everywhere at the moment. During Covid they sold off a lot of their cars so they are short on supply, and when demand is increasing they are charging way more. Would you believe it, I've just had the dreaded email to say our train down on Sunday has been cancelled So as advised I went on the LNER site to rebook on another train, all the earlier trains booked up and the the best option was getting to London at 12.27. Luckily I rang the call center who have manged to squeeze us on the 09.18train so a little bit more breating space for any delays on route which knowing our luck right now is bound to happen RE: EUROS - themaclad - 10-06-2021 Irrespective of the announcement on Monday England games to have 45000 in, is the rumour RE: EUROS - theo_luddite - 11-06-2021 (10-06-2021, 17:32)WakeyTerrier Wrote:(03-06-2021, 15:38)theo_luddite Wrote: I take it you've not bought any train tickets then - you know how these things happen in 3's!!

All ticket holders now have to show either a negative lateral flow test or proof via the NHS app of a full vaccination to gain access to the ground anyway. So the chances of catching/passing Covid is minimal in the ground, although the tube/trains/buses is another story alltogether RE: EUROS - Lord Snooty - 12-06-2021 Well what a distressing hour that has been in the life of world football. Thankfully the Danish FA have now said that Christian Erikson is awake and stabalised in hospital. RE: EUROS - themaclad - 12-06-2021 Game to restart at 7.30 which personal view does not feel right in my view Denmark for the cup now |
