RE: RIFC - Trusevich - 15-01-2015 (15-01-2015, 19:06)TheWorthinGer Wrote: Business chess. Simply and succinctly put. Yes, yes they do indeed. Improved funding offer or call for EGM? One would help Rangers' funding immediately, the other wouldn't. Guess which one is more likely? ![]() RE: RIFC - St Charles Owl - 15-01-2015 (15-01-2015, 15:50)Fredstersafool Wrote: It's the fact the board have continually said they WOULD never use ibrox Murray park as security there promise to you the fans. To be fair wasn't that the Wallace board that said they would never do this?? There is a virtually new board in place now and its run by MA's guys!! Yes collateral is always needed and the biggest asset Rangers have is the ground, so it was only a matter of time under the current financial situation. (15-01-2015, 19:06)TheWorthinGer Wrote: Business chess. Going to be fascinating to see what they do now!! There is no way they want to whole club mortgaged to Ashley but unless they come up with something that assuming Sarver is out of the running, he is still the only option for immediate money. RE: RIFC - supercooper - 15-01-2015 Its the 2 board places that will sway their decision towards Ashley. Survival mode for some. RE: RIFC - Fredstersafool - 15-01-2015 Did Somers not say the same STO?? RE: RIFC - TIN TIN - 15-01-2015 RIFC need at least £8million to see out this season, so an investment from MA of circa £10 million just now is small fry, plus the only remaining assets, aside the players, are going to be mortgaged off. Mortgages, as we all know require to be repaid- where is the cash going to come from to make the loan repayments?. MA now has the club by the proverbial short and curlies. The 3 berz andKingy can do feck all now- MA has pulled a master stroke and will end up owning the lot for less than a 10 per cent stake as and when the mortgage repayments dinnae get paid. RE: RIFC - St Charles Owl - 16-01-2015 It appears things are hotting up between the parties!! Most Rangers fans seem to be totally against what MA is trying to do but in reality only the Three Bears or King can do anything about it, and to do that they need to loan the money unsecured to the club now that MA has tied up Ibrox and Murray Park. Going to be an interesting few days but it seems like MA has decided he doesn't want or doesn't care about getting the fans on his side!!! Three Bears keen to Protect Ibrox RE: RIFC - TIN TIN - 16-01-2015 SCO, if the Ashley loan against security of Ibrox and Murray Park goes ahead, then RIFC then owe him, or SD £13 million- where the heck does the money come from to repay that. Total shambles imo. Too late now for fans protests blah, blah, blah etc,- will achieve hee haw. Fans have sat back, hoping that some great saviour was going to appear over the horizon and solve the situation- wise up- that was never going to happen and they end up with Ashley, who has one goal and that is to make as much money out of this as possible for who?- Mike Ashley RE: RIFC - Larry-AV - 16-01-2015 (16-01-2015, 01:22)TIN TIN Wrote: SCO, if the Ashley loan against security of Ibrox and Murray Park goes ahead, then RIFC then owe him, or SD £13 million- where the heck does the money come from to repay that. Robert Sarver. Unfortunately, we have major shareholders and/or a board that are only interested in blazers, rather than Rangers Football Club !!! RE: RIFC - St Charles Owl - 16-01-2015 As far as i can see there have been a number of "saviours" touted as being the ones to save the club, but each time one has appeared they have either provided a false dawn or been rejected by the board or shareholders. You are right about them owing MA 13m if this loan goes through, but I am not so sure it will go through. If anyone else loans the money then a new share issue will likely be used to pay them back, but with MA that option has been closed by the SPFL when they denied him the option to increase his shareholding. I can see an EGM being called by the Three Bears and they along with King and other fan shareholders will have enough votes to remove the board or at least make enough changes to swing it back in their direction, but they will have to do it very, very quickly!! MA has pulled a very shrewd move here, aided of course by his buddies on the board, its now up to the others to counter this or else the club will have little option but to accept the loan. RE: RIFC - supercooper - 16-01-2015 75% of the boards approval is needed to pass this motion pardon the pun. |
