Evening Mail reporting Villa have lodged a £1 million bid for Joleon Lescott, if true it warrants a two word answer in my book and the second words OFF

A pisstake revenge bid for us bidding for Ciaran Clark?
More likely because Villa CB Nathan Baker is off to Burnley according to E&S rumours page.

Sky sports reporting Lambert having a medical with us, quite happy with that, but also surprisingly reporting that we're in for the Cardiff keeper at 5million!!!! Surely he can only be third choice but costing 5m, doesn't sound great for foster if it's right.

Lambert's now signed. Welcome aboard, Rickie.

Looks like the icing on the cake for Lambert's rags to riches fairytale career.

I daresay Rickie Lambert's got dressing room presence, and goals in him, yet I can't say I'm too thrilled at signing a 33 year old forward, and he's hardly the future, especially if we lose Berahino. Oh well.

RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window - drewks - 31-07-2015

IMO Lambert's a great signing; we're not paying £15m for him, he'll score goals and (I'm sure) prove to be a great influence on Berahino, Nabi, and even Ideye Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up
