Problem now will be finiding someone to replace him who can clean house and take the game forward. The IOC managed to clean house after its scandals years ago, will be just as difficult for FIFA to do that as well.

Have to agree with that.  The only issue is the squad is very, very thin, so we are going to have to sign a lot of players and for me they had better be better than all of those we are letting go.

On the news over here they're saying a Canadian should be President.

And why not, eh?

Sheffield United have appointed former Southampton and Reading boss Nigel Adkins as their new manager on a three-year deal.
Our porky neighbours have stolen a march on us.I don't like Adkins though.Don't know why,it's just something about him.

I'm surprised mcshane is getting a mention on here, I put his name forward in January and was pretty much shot down on here as not good enough ( can't get my head round that).
He's a good centre half who gives 100% for the cause, he's not a cultured type of player granted but would give us grit and determination in those games you need to win when you aren't at your best.
Mixed feelings on the new kit..... Shirt looks really good, prefer blue shirts and although white socks are ok, these ones look a bit cheap.

Milan for FIFA president I say !!!!!

Is it me or is anyone else thinking that our new shirt sponsor CHANSRI is egotistical ..or is it a smart way round the FFP issue ???

I think the case for McShane is really if Loovens continues to stall on a new deal. He fits the bill well as a replacement. Ig Loovens signs then McShane drops out of the picture as younger options appear better.

I think mcshane is only 29 but seems to have been around for years
