Wow, Bennett must be pissed. Blocking his career playing football at a decent level. I can understand not wanting to sell to a league rival. But if Di matteo doesn't really want him or intend to play him, and the chairman makes the statement that he'd rather pay him to do nothing, he just looks like a tw@ more than anything.

Probably something will happen because one agent has already said that he won't allow any of his players to join Villa because of this attitude. Maybe they will let Bennett join a L1 team.

I'm not surprised, and probably not the only agent. L1 though. Isn't that beneath Bennett? Either way we better look for a LB quick time. Red Dawn in Birmingham.

Looks like WBA are pulling their pants down with the Chester transfer too.
What they can't buy though or create quickly is team spirit and unity and once they lose at Rotherham the full melt down will start.
Hopefully, Bennett if played has an unfortunate slip and gives away a red card and PK to help with that followed by a short drive to S6.
