I saw that too and I can't help but feel we are slipping behind on the teams above us in this window
Yes we've got Hooper but he's not exactly new is he ? Another midfielder/winger is needed asap if we are serious this season.
Not sure about the CB situation because both Lees and Turner are pretty good at this level. It all depends on Room 101

I agree with that, its great we have signed a few guys on permanent deals but as of yet we have only added to the current squad with a back-up LB. I still think we need a striker, Joao is not ready and Nuhiu is still Nuhiu, we can do better than him!!! Matias, Lee and Turner all need to get out of the treatment room, that will give us options and allow us to rest a few like Loovens who have been playing every game but we need more depth in midfield. I am still hoping we are serious about Judge, but time will tell.

Totally agree Maddix. I was saying the same the other day on another thread. Something like.....the teams above us have strengthened with more quality players, we have added Hooper who we already had, so in truth we are still a step behind these teams. We are now on the level they were on at the start of the season but they have gone a step up this transfer window now.
We need a striker, winger and midfielder in my view. Wickham, Judge and......who knows. Also need to get better defensively. You won't win games with a good defence but you definitely won't lose them which is where we need to be.....

We have been good at home and hopefully that will continue next week. My main worry would be giving up penalties due to our defence being too slow or too reckless.
But hopefully CC will have a cunning plan. which based on his post Reading comments be something like..... 'we pissed on the opposites fire and then our cowboys sat around having a barbecue !! '
Seems like Derby didn't get the stats rub of the green tonight either but hopefully they are now starting their annual freefall which could be good for us especially with their GD taking a hit too.
Be fantastic if we can get 9 points from the all the games against the "B" teams.

Burnley are on fire at best we will draw this one ? but the good news is that derby are commiting suicide again !! bad news again is that Birmingham are also serious about promotion ? tough 3 games coming up and we need players either out off the treatment room or we need to sign quickly !!
