BBC are trying to make out everyone is interested. I'd imagine ratings are in the 10s ofthousands rather than the hundreds they were expecting. In fact it could be low hundreds towards the end as people tune in to watch family guy  Laugh

They have people pn bleating equality for womens football. Thing is though, you can't just force people to be fans of something they have no interest in

RE: Thread For Anything But Football - peiowl - 16-06-2015

Over here, it's a more popular sport for women than I suspect in Europe. My granddaughter plays it. Why? Because unlike hockey and North American football, even baseball, parents don't have to mortgage their homes to buy all the equipment and body wear. Also, it's a game you can play in almost any open field. I like it because I don't compare it with the men's game, just on its own merit.

Now, about the equality for women. Bleat. bleat. bleat. I think women should have the right to vote, read, drink, have sex with whomever they wish (except my wife!!) I'm quite a liberal thinker. Laugh Laugh

Now we'll have another Brad Richard's Day on PEI. Doh

In Murray River, where he's from, they even sell Brad Richard's cookies (they're "biscuits" to you Imre Doh ) at the local bakery. Doh

cookies and biscuits are different things. I personally wouldn't dip a cookie into a cuppa tea as it is structurally weak. A custard cream on the other hand dunks beautifully

Chocolate chip cookies are shite for dunking. They dissolve far too easily, better of with a ginger nut or oatie type biscuit.
