RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Southeyowl - 05-02-2015 Bus is able to play! RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 05-02-2015 Dielna has a long throw but we seem unwilling to use this to our strengths. I hate having throw ins down the right hand side because it's so predictable that Nuhiu will be the only one there and flicks will go to the opposition. Down the left it's a bit different because we have Magohma or Helan willing to compete for the ball after the flick RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - madsteve - 07-02-2015 http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/sports/468745/ http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/sheff-weds/sheffield-wednesday-keiren-westwood-and-tom-lees-must-step-up-in-glenn-loovens-absence-1-7094208 http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/sheff-weds/sheffield-wednesday-stuart-gray-plans-first-meeting-with-new-boss-chansiri-1-7094206 http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-w/sheffield-wednesday-v-cardiff-bus-hopes-to-follow-petrescu-s-footsteps-at-owls-1-7094476 RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Maddix - 07-02-2015 It's pretty obvious that Bum-muff's owners are sticking the fingers up at the FFP rules in a bid for the EPL. They bid nearly £4 million for one player on deadline day ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What's the point of FFP ![]() ![]() RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - madsteve - 08-02-2015 (07-02-2015, 22:26)Maddix Wrote: It's pretty obvious that Bum-muff's owners are sticking the fingers up at the FFP rules in a bid for the EPL. One of the guys on there said that QPR will be handed a fine of "tens of millions" within two weeks by the Football league, which they will have to pay before the end of June or else they will be expelled from the Football League if they get relegated. However, let's see if that happens. It is likely that Bournemouth will stay within FFP. They did their homework on FFP & stayed within last season by a couple of hundred thousand. They sold Grabban for big money last summer which funded all their other signings so assuming they otherwise break even, they could make a £4m signing & stay within FFP. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - Thurnscoe_OWL - 08-02-2015 Bournemouth have done things properly. Buy cheap and sell high. WE haven't been able to do that because we have only recently started up our scouting network again so we haven't found any "hidden gems", instead going for more well known players (many of whom turned out to be shit) RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - madsteve - 08-02-2015 Nigel Pearson sacked at Leicester. Not much of a surprise in view of his recent behaviour. RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - St Charles Owl - 09-02-2015 I can't help feeling that he is starting to crack under the pressure and maybe even believing too much in himslef as well. He seems to be getting involved in some strange incidents!! RE: 2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window - madsteve - 09-02-2015 (09-02-2015, 01:03)Imre varadi Wrote: hes not even been sacked ? They tried to sack him but he grabbed the Chairman by the throat and said that if they sacked him then he would bash their brains in. So they unsacked him. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
