RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (3 July) - 4evaabaggie - 04-07-2017 Why do we keep losing out to Leicester ....... last summer understandable, they had champions league. We are more established in the premier league but still keep losing out. It can't be our negotiating so why. Losing out to London clubs yes it's London but the east Midlands, no disrespect Intended but it's hardly the bright lights ..... He's not unlike Shane Long, either. Did he ever play in the same XI as Shane?? (Or maybe Shane changed his name??) Have we bought Shane back? I'm tempted to say "Deal or no Deal", but their father (Noel Edmonds) might get confused. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (3 July) - Stairs - 05-07-2017 Steve Mounie goes from Montpellier to Huddersfield - Go figure!! Not saying he is a miss and should be with us but...... Stairs have to admit my heart sank when I saw this on BBC website HOWEVER I like a lot of others are getting obsessed with players we are 'Linked to', I'd never heard of him and he obviously wasn't on the clubs radar. I need to wake up and stop believing all the Lazy BS journalism and go with the flow. From now on I will only get upset about the players I do know about that we lose out on ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (3 July) - Slick_Footwork - 05-07-2017 (05-07-2017, 10:09)Stairs Wrote: Steve Mounie goes from Montpellier to Huddersfield - Go figure!! I think after the Rodriguez deal, we're probably done on the striker front unless Rondon goes (which will probably happen on deadline day). Never seen Mounie play, but younger and cheaper than Rodriguez without the injury record. Really hope we haven't made a ridiculous decision here, especially as I can see Rondon going last minute and us needing everyone fit like last season. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (3 July) - BaggieMan - 05-07-2017 Still plenty of time with 57 days of the Window to go. Uncle Tone will do the bizzo and bring in many top international signings! "Nurse, nurse, I'm having another turn" ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (3 July) - Alouion - 05-07-2017 (05-07-2017, 11:21)Slick_Footwork Wrote:(05-07-2017, 10:09)Stairs Wrote: Steve Mounie goes from Montpellier to Huddersfield - Go figure!! Jeez Slick, I hope we're not done on the striker front. Even his most ardent fan would not say Rondon is the finished article. Personally I think Robson-Kanu is not much better than League I standard and even assuming you can get a full season from Rodriguez, he is more of an attacking midfielder. I want and would expect at least one more striker. If it were not for the goals coming from defenders in particular we would have been in trouble last season. RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (3 July) - devwakey - 05-07-2017 I think the only thing getting me through this T/Window is the fact that Rondon came out of no where. No links or anything, then a storm on twitter and half a day later we announced it RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (3 July) - WBA-Josh - 05-07-2017 Khouma Babacar from Fiorentina linked - http://www.insidefutbol.com/2017/07/05/west-brom-and-crystal-palace-chasing-fiorentina-hitman/342156/ http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/khouma-babacar/profil/spieler/124902 Update on Ranocchia - http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-brom-stand-inter-milan-13282226 RE: WBA 2017/18 Summer Transfer Window (3 July) - Baggievicar - 05-07-2017 My internet has been down for 2 days. I was hoping to come back on and find news of exciting new signings. Sigh. |
