RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Maddix - 17-10-2020 At this rate the EFL might have to deduct us some more points ![]() RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 17-10-2020 Another good monk away win ! Still won't save us though as we can't win at home Brentford up next yet more proof in the pudding of doom ! RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Washington - 17-10-2020 That was another nervy last 10 minutes. This sitting back while the long high balls come in frustrates the hell out of me especially with the normal EFL added time. However the first half we should have been 3-4 up. One day they will all go in !! Hopefully at least a point midweek and into positive points by the end of the month. RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - St Charles Owl - 17-10-2020 Hard to pick a MOM from that one, it was above all else a team performance. I wold probably go for Luongo, he did well in defence and always supported when we were getting forward. The two real CHs both had good games and never put a foot wrong, maybe we can make something of Van Aken after all. Reach looked much better than almost the whole of last season. Up front Windass works hard and Paterson works well with him. I thought Kachunga and Bannan were quiet but they still didn't do anything wrong. So after 5 games we have pulled back 8 of the -12 we stared with and sit 7 points from safety, we would be just outside the playoffs without the deduction!! When you look at who wasn't in the team today - Iorfa, Borner, Lees, Palmer and Brown, we definitely have a deeper squad that we have had for years. Tough game coming up midweek against Brentford but then we have 3 very winnable games against Luton, Rotherham and Wycombe coming up. RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Maddix - 17-10-2020 Oh how the mighty have fallen ![]() ![]() RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 18-10-2020 It's just laughable isn't it maddix ! And bormoth ...and just about anyone realy as we still have no identity at Hillsborough since this wanker of a chairman took over ...monks great on the road and his tactics second to none ! But like Carlos and that other fella they fail to realise what Wednesday and Hillsborough means ..even though that means very little at the minute with cardboard cutouts ..but I'm sure if the fans do come back ever ? He still will bore the shit out off them ! We are playing midtable football the whole setup is midtable and that's ok to push on if we had time to do so ! But we don't . We will find ourselves still in the bottom 3 at Xmas playing this garbage and one bad month which most teams have and definitely we always do if not 3 bad months will nail it ! Unless there is a vast improvement at home we are fucled and I don't see any evidence of our home form changing on this seasons results so far ! And its upsetting that this doesn't upset me anymore ..I have no love whatsoever for this circus RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 18-10-2020 Pigs are in trouble to they've got mancity liverpool and chelsea coming up pmsl RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 19-10-2020 BML Update None awarded. RE: Birmingham v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 19-10-2020 I feel optimistic about this season to be honest. We've been sensible in the market, thankfully learning that spunking millions on clowns gets you - 12 down the road fiddling the losses. Squad is more than capable of avoiding relegation.. Yes, stronger teams have gone down but this team have already erased 66% of the deficit. If they hadn't gone down to ten men against QPR we'd be - 2. Lose against Brentford but beat Wycombe and Rotherham and we're in the points with 35 games left. I wish Monkfish wouldn't be so negative when we have a lead though, sometimes it's better to just let them get on with it. SS, Imre is not going to like your new PMA but if you’re optimistic then we should be on for a good season. With this level of positivity are you ITK on a point deduction reversal ![]() |
