I had a catapult launched Fireball XL5 which came down via parachute and not retro rockets, Also a powered spitfire controlled by string like a kite. It only flew in circles and you had to spin around in time with it. Home built go cart powered by a 250 BSA motorbike engine. Ahhh Memories.

Just dug out this Goal cover from July 1969. Honestly, imagine any footy magazine, app, blog or website in this day and age leading with a front-cover headline like THIS CAN BE KILMARNOCK'S YEAR.

No one in their right mind would want the violence and racism of those days back, but football has lost something big and irreplaceable alongside the toxic stuff. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater is the curse of our age.

trying to think of that drawing one:
with a wheel with weird shapes on it that had numbers to the weird shapes and numbers on the outside
had to pin it to a piece of paper mark a line at the top of the wheel then turn the wheel and draw the line that matched the numbers

help me out here

Not sure what that was. Spirograph you did used to have to pin a wheel to the paper they you got different other wheel which ran on like a tooth system around the inside and outside of that wheel with a pen in a hole somewhere making patterns Just seen you can still buy them? Hot Wheels if you could not get them to loop that was operator error Big Grin Big Grin

Did anyone else have any story L.P's I remember having Thunderbird's (The Perils of Lady Penelope) amongst others.
