I get what you are saying, but when we were getting interest in him there would have been uproar from the fans if we had let him go. In hindsight it would have been the right thing, but hindsight is always 20/20!!
He looks a bit rusty, which is understandable, ironically he is probably our only player who would have even been in position to score.
