We're far from safe. We have Man City away, Chelsea away and Arsenal at home to come. If Southampton and Swansea each win a game, we're farked.

Went to the game today/yesterday. Real battling performance but great team effort, the team is clearly playing for Big Dave, which is great but also frustrating- as professionals, why didn't we get some of this earlier? You've probably watched MOTD so you'll have seen Fozzie's great save and Phillips' superb goal but, in all honesty, I didn't think the rest of the game was a problem for us. Newcastle were poor but we chased and harried. When you win away 1-0, the defence tends to take the plaudits, and they were great, but, for me, MOM was Chris Brunt. He made some great passes but he never gives up, fabulous performance.
As ever, the fans were superb, the chant of : "we're winning away, we're winning away, you must be sh*te, cos we're winning away" was just hilarious.

Speechless wtf is going on? BD has no real experience esp in the prem and he’s already made our previous 2 HCs look like ronald McDonald on acid. I could scream but instead I’m just stunned into moribund silence. The results we need just will not happen it’s too much to ask isn’t it? Surely?

We need Stoke to beat Swansea and lose the rest, Saints And Swansea to draw and lose the others and us to win both then we stay up on Goal difference. Miracle required. Sadly I don’t believe in miracles but I do now believe in Big Dave.

To be honest it’s the hope that kills you. I suggest we all pray and get Vic to send a ‘special request’ to the man (or woman) upstairs.

Will it be Roy Hodgson who finally condemns us to The Championship. My Fitbit is telling me my normal resting heart rate of 54 has jumped to 66 in the last week alone! More likely the copious amounts of Alcohol I’m neckin at the moment to calm my nerves.

Worldclass, I can see all those results happening, the last being Swansea / Stoke 94th minute score nil nil, Hughes brings on his super sub and SAIDO BERAHINO smashes one into the roof of the net ....... his first stoke goal saves us from the drop .......

if Carlsberg did football results ...........
