RE: WBA vs Brighton - Match Thread - 4evaabaggie - 13-01-2018 The great escape has started ........ RE: WBA vs Brighton - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 13-01-2018 Seeing as he's been blamed for everything wrong with the club, I'll thank TP for that win. 40 percent possession, 2 set piece goals from Defenders, Brighton just got Pulised. Thought Rondon worked hard today, he put the Willys up em, But we need a Goal scorer and quickly Only Man City next Well someone has to beat em
RE: WBA vs Brighton - Match Thread - drewks - 13-01-2018 OK.....only (with the greatest respect) Exeter and now Brighton, but the belief and momentum created by these 2 wins after so long will be massive. It's a real shame that it's Man City next, but I think AP's man management skills will still build the players' belief and show that the corner has definitely been turned. Def enough points still to play for for us to get out of trouble RE: WBA vs Brighton - Match Thread - 4evaabaggie - 13-01-2018 Drewks, it would be a shame if it was Man city away next but it's actually Everton away, followed by Liverpool away FACUP and then Man City away ...... so with a bit of luck and a fair wind we could be out of the bottom three by the time we go to the Etihad. After Man City ..... Another big six pointer at home to Saints ...... start of Feb. I think 20% as the first set piece was more attacking and better worked out - the second Pulis style - oh and Midd' bro lost today. Oops! RE: WBA vs Brighton - Match Thread - Arcane Astral Aeons - 13-01-2018 guess i can finally watch Match Of The Day tonight does jimmy hill still present it? RE: WBA vs Brighton - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 13-01-2018 Great result and decent performance. I too dislike these ‘clappers’ but I have to say it did improve the sound level and atmosphere. If ‘clappers’ mean points, i’ll go along with them. Jonny Evans dropped a couple of clangers today which could have resulted in them scoring. Dawson and Hegazi were immense. Brunty has a good game and Phillips faded in and out. In spite of not scoring, Rondon was impressive on the ball and came close to scoring when he hit the side netting. Not sure what the Pole did - certainly didn’t stand out. A great confidence boost, could and should have been 4-0 and on to Everton for another three points!
