RE: TP , Could This Be It ? - Baggie_One - 07-11-2017 I play football on a monday night, wear my nice newish top, with my surname and lucky number on the back, my son (almost 4) takes an interest in it, wants to know who the team are etc.........i fear sending him over to the dark side......bit brighter at the golden palace. Isn't the mighty one sunning himself in Barbados ? gardening leave hopefully. RE: TP , Could This Be It ? - silverbaggie - 07-11-2017 Unfortunately I can no longer get to games at the shrine due to rickety old legs that need to rest every few yards or so but, I feel for you guys that do go. I can only watch from afar and heaven knows that's painful enough. Those, like myself, supporters for over 50 years, can only look back and reminisce about the greats of days gone by and some of the matches that we saw when Albion played the sort of exciting football that is no longer available or, as it seems by present management, permitted. I don't often watch MOTD now but, the other week I saw a brilliant performance by Man City who played flowing football that simply blew the other team away. Oh where oh where are the players of the calibre of Regis, Astle, Bomber, Hope, Cantello, Hartford, Wile or Statham and many many more. No wonder us old fogies prefer to live in the past but, remember, to paraphrase a saying on one of my "Old Guys Rule" Tshirts:- THE OLDER I GET, THE BETTER IT WAS! ![]() RE: TP , Could This Be It ? - hibeejim21 - 07-11-2017 (07-11-2017, 16:15)4evaabaggie Wrote:(07-11-2017, 16:13)hibeejim21 Wrote: Pulis West brom can get a better manager than pulis. RE: TP , Could This Be It ? - Stairs - 07-11-2017 He has jetted of to Barbados. What the **** is that all about. Given the problems with the squad if I wanted to keep my job I’d be working at the club. Researching players. Working with the Squad etc. RE: TP , Could This Be It ? - Baggievicar - 07-11-2017 But a lot of the squad are off on international duty, in fairness. Let's hope he uses his break to consider his position..... If owned the club I would take that as a sign of defeat RE: TP , Could This Be It ? - drewks - 07-11-2017 (07-11-2017, 18:03)Stairs Wrote: He has jetted of to Barbados. It is now the International break so maybe he, his coaching staff and the remaining players not on international duty have been given a few days off. A refresh of the batteries might help him see the light and change some things for the next match or two so doesn't lose his job.
