However to hit them on the counter attack we had to have pace and wingers yet both were on the Bench
How the star performer for the Rep Of Ireland cant get a game is beyond me but he has something that others don't at the moment
And also where was Burke was told he was fit and raring to go ........
We cant really lose next week win and its OK for a wile longer
Lose surely TP has to go ........>>>>>.
as i said performance was to be expected
was it 23% possession?
ok we were playing one of the best sides in the league
managed to score twice
but i think the guy still needs to go
he`s taken us as far as he can

Chaps we were always going to lose today. 3-2 flattered us despite Krychowiak missing a golden chance to put us at 2-2. To be honest they were quite brilliant, we did ok BUT Pulis has to go because of what’s occurred before today and the fact that we have won only 3 in 22 games says it all.
The sooner he goes the better, the fans are fed up and the players look beaten down too. He’s been given longer than he should have already. GO NOW

Overall, we lost to the better team today.
And while I didn't agree with the selection - I don't think Krychowiak, Barry and Livermore work as a trio - there's a fair argument that we might've lost whatever side Pulis picked. Of course, we can only speculate.
Next week is the big game. If we play as we did against Brighton and Southampton, we will surely lose and TP will be gone. It's situation that TP hasn't faced since he's been here - so it'll be interesting if he persists with the same negative dross or not.
On today's game, credit to Gareth McAuley who came in and looked really solid. At 37, the man is a credit and surely has to start if he's fit. We've looked really weak at the back without him this season.

on a rather selfish note
can TP not play GMac next weekend
Northern Ireland have a massive play-off against the Swiss
rather he play for us irish in the two legged play off
sorry but we need him fit

Lots of "aard" work scrambling last ditch blocks and tackles kept the score down, but yet again in possession we were absolutely shite.
SM, impression I got listening to it was that our goals came from their errors. Is that the case and did we create anything of note apart from what they seem to have gifted us?
In fairness I felt our goals came from a couple of spells where we pressed them well and then both J Rod and Phillips finished well enough, however there weren't any great deal of chances created when we did have the ball.
So many times we played either the wrong ball or played it backwards - Nyom's backwards pass to one of our defenders midway through the second half is the most prominent in my memory as it was such a good opportunity to try and catch City on the break.
Not an exaggeration when I say this but when I saw the way too negative team lineup on my phone in the pub an hour before kick off, I was genuinely in two minds whether to just stay in the pub and get a few more Holdens Golden Glow down my neck.

The performance wasn't as bad as I expected it to be and we did look ok going forward at times but for fucks sake TP how can we play with more forward ambtition at home to Man City yet play like a League One team away at Southampton and Brighton and at home to Watford (2nd half).
We are in 14th now but will drop to 15th tomorrow regardless of how Leicester vs Everton ends. Lose to Huddersfield next week and we could be truly in the shit going into the International break.
well it wasnt the pasting a lot expected
performance was as to be expected
considering Manchester City have been scoring for fun
they controlled from minute one
but on a lighter note
Well done the England U17`s
beating Spain in the final 5-2
game over
another great performance from the youngsters
considering they were 2-0 down
Didn't see the U17 game but heard that the Spanish players ran straight over to the one of the TV cameras to celebrate the 2nd goal. Bet they wish they hadn't done that now!
Fantastic achievement and really hope we may have an upcoming generation of footballers to inject some life back into our National team.
Ah, what would I give to be able to buy Holdens in Scotland
Get onto Holdens over email and I bet they'd sort you out with a delivery from the Woodsetton shop if you ask nicely! - http://www.holdensbrewery.co.uk/shop.html
Thought you'd have moved onto the Buckfast though mate after living in Scotland
Highlights here for anyone who might have missed the game earlier: http://hoofoot.com/?match=West_Brom_2_-_3_Manchester_City_2017_10_28
Bucky is a bit too upmarket for me, Mad Dog 20/20, that's the boy!

Chances are that after today's games we will be in 15th position and 2pts above the drop zone, hardly inspiring stuff is it? Next match will tell us about Pylis's future me thinks.
Though a better spectator game today.
