Still feeling the headache after drinking many pints after the soddin equaliser and gulping them down in amazement at going up 2-0. Pulis and his defensive game ! When its needed what happens-goals. Lost 2points, + losing and drawing with table bottom teams, how much in points and money will that cost us by the end of the season.

PULIS OUT after another 6 matches if no improvement with a much better squad.

BBB, I think six games is fair ..... a good manager can tell a working unit in that time and attacking entertaining winning football to take us up to challenge Everton.

2nd Dec against Palace is the interesting one, if they haven't turned the corner by then. Sit deep, waste time and hit them on the counter??

I definitely agree with you on A, C and D.
Really, really annoyed with yesterday.

It's my motto - "West Brom need to score 2 in order to secure a draw" and so this was no surprise to me. Although it does sicken me.

RE: WBA vs Watford - Match Thread - Sir Megson - 02-10-2017

Looking back on our performance on Monday night I'd say Gibbs should now have cemented his place at left back, and playing two up top is definitely the way to go with this team.

Although at times he gives me the impression he's stealing a living as a footballer... Rondon has rarely played in a front 2 and I think he and Rodriguez need a run of games together as they could well form a good partnership.

That said, the realist in me expects TP will view this as must not lose instead of must win. And that approach for this season will not wash with supporters after our business in the summer window.

Just want to point out this post I made pre game.

I'm not pro Pulis - just not pro sacking a manager at this stage of the season with no decent replacement lined up. That's how we ended up with Pepe Mel, which then led to Alan Irvine.

Even Pulisball wasn't as bad as those two. There's being bored and leaving the ground fed up under TP, then there's leaving it fuming after some of the absolutely gutless displays turned out under the tenure of both Mel and Irvine. And let's not even get started on the Transfer Window Irvine had! Utterly amazing we're still in the division to be honest.

Was in the pub last night and this game came up in the discussion.

Just how bad were McClean's three corners in succession from around the 75 minute mark? At that stage in the game if he gets one of those right we're 3-1 and looking comfortable.

Literally deflated the atmosphere with those 3 wasted corners and it felt the game was only going one way afterwards.
