No. Neither corner kicks or long throw ins.

You really do need to against teams like this and of course, Preston. QPR's first ten goals of the season came from set pieces.

We,  on the other hand, look totally useless at free kicks. There's the one we got as a consulation at Deepdale and Schinz's header from the corner at Ipswich,  but apart from those I can't think of any more.

The delivery at most of our set pieces is poor. Doesn't fit in well with the rest of our play. Most of the goals we do score are perfectly crafted works of art. We need to add danger from free kicks to our game as well.

Do this and the occasional lapse against at a set piece won't matter as much. Everybody else concedes from set pieces. We just make a lot of it because it's been our achillees heel for years and years.

Great goal by the Wunderkid Billing

Goal of the season at Forest last season and it'll take something special to stop him winning that accolade again this season. It were a belter.

That is some strike for your second goal, he won't ever hit one that sweetly again!!!!

Well it's the second time he's done it SCO. Wouldn't bet against a third, just a shame he couldn't have made it our third yesterday. I'd take another of those any day of the week

We don't score enough goals, and we don't put teams under pressure enough.
How can a team have 71% possession but have the same number of shots as the other team.
It's down to keeping possession for the sake of it.....does it really hurt teams? On this evidence then no.

From a completely mathematical point of view...that's 71% in 90 mins.....or 64 minutes of having the ball. And we created a total of 10 shots....or a shot every 6 and a half minutes of having the ball.
We need to be quicker at getting the ball forward. Teams are now starting to realise once they lose possession they can re-organise their defence without having to worry we are going to hit them on the break.

We have been well and truly worked out by opposing managers.

problems all over the pitch right now.

Goalie-Ward has come in for some stick from my mates saying he's not commanding enough in his own box when it comes to corners/free kicks

Defence- Our of the 24 teams in the division 16 have a better defence than us and of the 8 with a worse defence than us 4 of those occupy places in the bottom 5 of the division.

Midfield- gone off the boil thanks to injuries, suspensions and fatigue. We are missing key players for those reasons, none more so than Joe Lolley

Forwards- we just don't score enough goals 19 from 17games. I've never been a great fan of Nahki but he's struggling up front. Would much prefer Kachunga up top but understand he can't whilst we are struggling for players to hit form and recover from injuries in our wide positions for midfield

Torygraph saying Wells has rejected new deal and we'll listen to offers of £8m in Jan. Given today's market and his form last season would I have accepted that? No. But he looks shadow of his former self as of now. Someone will be desperate and I know we are looking at a striker in Jan and probably one other player. Could use that money to buy a couple of gems to help us kick on.
