RE: Friendlies 2016 - jjamez - 27-07-2016 I thought we looked decent enough. Dont think the best xi has played together yet which is a slight worry. Its okay saying we didnt trouble werder, but they hardly troubled us there was maybe 2 each plus that one where our keeper got taken out. But long story short we matched them so that shows there is something to be happy about and more to come. As for liverpool, we only had a few shots against them but we kept the ball fairly well in the large part. Defensively we looked solid enough and they had 2 pens and a few other chances here and there, last season we would have crumbled like a soggy biscuits in a cuppa RE: Friendlies 2016 - Lord Snooty - 29-07-2016 FC Ingolstadt 0-1 Town (Hefele) RE: Friendlies 2016 - EastLondonTerrier - 29-07-2016 Hearing good reports from the game on Twitter. Solidity is the main thing I'm hearing in defence. Tommy Smith looking markedly improved from last year. Payne and Kachunga working well in combination and Mooy an absolute baller. Definitely seem to miss Nakhi though. |
