I think thats a good point, we have almost an entirely new team that undoubtedly has better players in it that we have had for a long time, but it will take time for everything to click. I think we have certainly seem periods of play that suggest if we can do that consistently we will definitely win more than not, but its going to be about doing that week in, week out!! If at Xmas we are just outside the playoffs but still in touching distance, then I would expect DC to get the check book out and strengthen the team in the January window to try to push on up the table. RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Reading - OvalOwl - 19-08-2015 Did anybody spot that Brentford postponed their match last night due to a bad pitch? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33886202 Brentford have postponed their Championship match at home to Birmingham City ... in order to re-lay the pitch at Griffin Park. Head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen described the surface, which underwent drainage works in pre-season, as "a disaster, awful and unbelievable" after their opening-day draw at home to Ipswich. RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Reading - Thurnscoe_OWL - 19-08-2015 Saw that other day oval. Absolute joke that they've been allowed to do so. They should be looking to reimburse ANY fan who had plans to travel to this game RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Reading - OvalOwl - 19-08-2015 To be fair Brentford have offered to refund anybody not able to make the new date and have offered to reimburse any Brum fans who had bought travel tickets. This is from the Brum OS: "Any supporters who cannot make the rearranged date will be entitled to a full refund on their match ticket. However, Brentford is aware that some supporters may have made arrangements to travel to the match and paid fares which cannot now be cancelled. Subject to conditions, Brentford FC will reimburse any supporters left out of pocket on travel expenses by the late cancellation. Each supporter can claim up to £100.
