RE: Scottish Challenge Cup, Season 2015-2016. - TheWorthinGer - 25-07-2015 Or even a "shite" Hearts side. I notice St. Mirren are through with no fuss. They've been almost completely ignored by the media in the run up to the new season but I don't think they should be underestimated as contenders in the league. They could struggle a bit after a very poor Premiership season but they have some experience in their squad and could just as likely pose a threat. Never happened super but Hibs Battered hertz 6-2 at Easter Rd on 22/10/2002. Hearts scored first through Andy Kirk then big Mixu fired in a double hibs went on the rampage scoring another 4 goals through David Zitelli Mixu John Oneil and goal of the game through the genius Russell Latapy only for Colin Cameron to score a 2nd for the visitors. The biggest football lesson I've ever seen hibs just ripped them apart all over the park. Ah the good old days GGTTH RE: Scottish Challenge Cup, Season 2015-2016. - TheWorthinGer - 25-07-2015 6:2 to the Gers and the scrap book is out. Nice. RE: Scottish Challenge Cup, Season 2015-2016. - El Car - 26-07-2015 Not sure who we actually beat today now. Every time I read a comment on the Hibs board their side gets weaker and weaker. Apparently Stubbs played his under 12s side against us to get them some experience as he hates this cup and would never try to win a tie. It'll be a different story in the league when we play their dads, who are all really amazing by the way. |
