Plus you've missed all the footy predictions, they were last Monday. Sooorrreee!! Oh well, never mind. And I'd just got to the end of May as well. ![]() RE: Sporting Predictions 2025 - themaclad - 09-02-2025 So I've missed all the football ones as well, oops RE: Sporting Predictions 2025 - theo_luddite - 09-02-2025 I did mention it once or twice but as it's only a bit of fun and it all got off to a late kick-off, I'll give AmChaff and themaclad until Tuesday to do the footy stuff. Anything else that's later than the Post #15 deadlines doesn't count. Is that fair? Me, myself and I will review any VAR appeals. Except ritchie if he wants to join in. He's got a few more days to get his act together. RE: Sporting Predictions 2025 - Amelia Chaffinch - 09-02-2025 Ta, theo. However, having copied my entries up to May and, after much faffing just now, finding out how to access my clipboard on my new laptop, I have discovered that it wasn't turned on! I have now lost the will to live and off to lie in a darkened room. RE: Sporting Predictions 2025 - theo_luddite - 09-02-2025 The joys of technology Just copy and paste Snoots's if you have to, then change a couple. I'm sure he won't mind. ![]() Meanwhile - this might help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPedE1kFLkg Sorry if it's a bit woolly RE: Sporting Predictions 2025 - themaclad - 09-02-2025 Do them all tomorrow RE: Sporting Predictions 2025 - theo_luddite - 09-02-2025 PS - Copy - Ctrl C Paste - Ctrl P If needed, Shift - Right Arrow (or Left Arrow if you go back'ards) will highlight what you need to copy. Works on most of them there keyboards when your mouse goes rogue. RE: Sporting Predictions 2025 - Amelia Chaffinch - 09-02-2025 I did Copy with a right click but I now that's only ok for pasting before you've switched off the laptop. It was lost. RE: Sporting Predictions 2025 - theo_luddite - 10-02-2025 Well, it always was. I mean - how much light do you get from a light bulb you just switched off? It's called flash memory for a reason. Give technology a chance ol' luv. Hope you didn't lose everything. Some Microsoft apps do a "soft save" for you which might be about 15 minutes behind what you last thought you saved, but it depends which app you were working with. I can look up how to find this if you were doing an Excel or Word type document. You can also recover some stuff from on here via your browser "History" but not always. You need to do that yourself from those three dots up in the top right hand corner of the browser page. |
