RE: New Transfer Window Thread - Blue Baggie - 01-02-2024 Taylor loaned to Bolton for the rest of the season. RE: New Transfer Window Thread - Salopbaggie - 02-02-2024 So we have a new Scottish Johnston on the left wing, a pity number 11 is not free at present, lets just hope he is as good as his namesake, I could not imagine him being better. RE: New Transfer Window Thread - Stairs - 02-02-2024 Well on the plus side we did not lose any of the primary squad to a cheeky bid and we have a few loan players that look like they add value. Add to this that, just maybe, a few injured will be able to feature in this half of the season. Downside is I still feel defensively we should have done more. Agreed - my big worry was who, or how many, would leave, so I'm thinking we've done very well. High hopes of Johnston, and matey from Brizzle is also a sound investment, methinks ![]() RE: New Transfer Window Thread - Baggiebob(BBB) - 04-02-2024 A newie scoring the only goal of the match, that impressive. ![]() Should we get the crocked players back to fitness 2nd half, we stand a very good change of the play-offs + top teams are losing points around us, may it continue. RE: New Transfer Window Thread - Salopbaggie - 09-02-2024 So what do people think of the potential signing of free agent Yann M'Vila, who CC has worked with before. Excellent pedigree, but at 33 you would hope its only until the end of the season and that he has kept up his fitness. It is now emerging that there are some problems with obtaining a work permit, obviously now we are no longer part of the E.U. he needs one. Hopefully just a delay, though as he is no longer an international player or currently employed there maybe further complications. RE: New Transfer Window Thread - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 09-02-2024 I'll take him on the condition he changes his name to Yann M'Albion. Can't be having that word on the back of one of our shirts ![]() RE: New Transfer Window Thread - drewks - 09-02-2024 (09-02-2024, 19:02)Ska'dForLife-WBA Wrote: I'll take him on the condition he changes his name to Yann M'Albion. Can't be having that word on the back of one of our shirts Seems like we HAVE signed him till the end of the season. He obviously LOVES Albion - above all others.... https://www.si.com/soccer/sunderland/news/free-agent-yann-mvila-makes-only-club-claim-about-sunderland ![]() ![]() RE: New Transfer Window Thread - Salopbaggie - 10-02-2024 (09-02-2024, 20:32)drewks Wrote:(09-02-2024, 19:02)Ska'dForLife-WBA Wrote: I'll take him on the condition he changes his name to Yann M'Albion.
