Yes it was....... 26 Dec 2021 THE JOHN SMITH'S STADIUM Huddersfield Town centre back Tom Lees lay face down motionless with an apparent severe head injury after a challenge with Blackpool’s Gary Madine, but the referee chose not to stop the game and played until Blackpool had a chance a header the ball out of play. Many in the crowd felt the ref should have paused the game immediately to allow urgent medical attention for the stricken player. Lees, never one to stay down unless genuinely injured, was treated by paramedics for ten minutes on the pitch. RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town REACTIVATED - WakeyTerrier - 07-02-2023 He can not survive that. We are scraping by at best, we’re a goal up against 10men and actually lose the second half 2-1. Ok if this was Burnley/Sheff Utd you could make excuses but this is Blackpool FFS! RE: Blackpool v Huddersfield Town REACTIVATED - jjamez - 08-02-2023 please tell me that before i have lunch tomorrow i'll be reading that he's been given the boot, useless manager |
