RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - theo_luddite - 19-10-2022 Probably explains why his "injury" is taking a while longer to heal than originally expected. ![]() If this guy is one of the best and brightest coaches they had in Germany, you have to wonder why at club, European and International level they are so successful. Or did somebody give him a good reference to get him out of there? I saw nothing last night or at the weekend that showed we've moved on from Danny Schofield. As for the "wonderful job our Academy are doing" can that be rewritten as "first team squad want him out"? If he keeps dropping players for making a mistake (take 'em out of the firing line for game maybe, but not out of the squad for a month and more ffs) we're all going to be going down Sports Direct for some new boots (or JD Sports if you want them really posh boots for £50 more) as he'll only have fans left to pick from. Hell, Danny didn't need to do a Truss U turn to get it right, let alone a U turn every day, a 90° turn, as shown by his assistants, would have done the trick. Then again - the real problem, as many suspect - is likely upstairs. RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - Lord Snooty - 19-10-2022 "Ah'm no' here tae be any o' these guys' friend." RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - theo_luddite - 19-10-2022 Well to be honest, as a boss you don't always need to be the best friend your staff ever had, but you sure as hell need their respect and their knowledge that if they drop a bollock you'll go in and fight their corner and say I'll get/give them the training required to make them better at their job and then deliver it. I don't get that warm, fuzzy feeling from this guy. He's all about numbers in a game that numbers (like running yardage) have suddenly taken over from the ability to actually do anything meaningful with the ball. He's more like the one I had (well more than one if I'm honest) that wanted to make everyone redundant or sack them to make him look good at cutting costs and that still can't work out why I keep blocking him on LinkedIn. If he's watched his subs all week in training, why the feck does he need to watch them at all at half-time? What are his assistants there for? RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - Lord Snooty - 19-10-2022 Well with the Town performance being so poor, I've forgotten to slate the referee. He was appalling! RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - jjamez - 19-10-2022 Hoggys not the only one that wants him out already! We'll soon see how the rest of the squad really feel, they already don't look to be happy with him RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - theo_luddite - 19-10-2022 As piss poor as he and his mates were Snoots (let's be honest it's pretty much par for the course) we were worse, far worse and Both Ends weren't much better. I think themaclad has pretty much said as much.. RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - WakeyTerrier - 19-10-2022 (19-10-2022, 17:10)jjamez Wrote: Hoggys not the only one that wants him out already! He certainly isn't and I'm not talking about the fans. The problem we've got is that the other 2 candidates who were sounded out, 1 wants to go to the World Cup and won't arrive until his team gets knocked out and the other is still in contracted until November sometime despite being sacked a while back. So should we sack him now and stick Chico in charge until those options open up? RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - Lord Snooty - 19-10-2022 You speak of mutiny, Mr Christian. |
