The opposition were still ripping holes in our defence. Nicholls kept us in loads of games. He wasn't player of the season for nothing.

We're no better or worse than we were. Just not getting the lucky breaks.

In my defence, I'm pretty sure I said time and again that Corberan was getting away with. He knew he couldn't get a tune out of this lot again

Kwik Kwiz answer - all of you that picked Brunton Park (Carlisle Utd) as being further west take a bow. Thumb up

Wiki, gawd bless 'em, gave Brunton Park's co-ordinates in decimals and Ashton Gate's in good old °, ’ & ”. Fortunately there are interweb links to put everything on the same method.

So, if we moved Brunton Park due South it would end up in the Severn, just off Clevedon. It get's flooded every time there's bit of rain in the Northern Pennines, so no change there then. Similarly, Ashton Gate, if moved North would be on Cold Fell in the Northern Pennines, and without a doubt the highest stadium above sea level in England. We'll leave it where it is in case we upset a Baggie or two. Tongue

I've included a couple of more grounds for interest and yes, Easter Road is further west than the rest of us and the 3 that I've found nearest to the Greenwich Meridian. Two of them likely don't surprise you.

I will try to get out more when Mr. Wishee-Washee tells me my anoraks are ready for collection. Smartass

That unofficial Tyreece Simpson video is now official.

Roly Aarons got twenty minutes in for Motherwell tonight

20 minutes more than he's played for us since he first detected his ingrowing toe nail. Or was it split ends as he came out of the shower?

You've got Carlisle playing at Blundell Park in your little graphic, theo. Apart from that, nicely done. Thumb up

Doh  Doh  Doh  Doh

now fixed - I knew it didn't look right and still didn't fix it first time.

I also noted Cardiff and Edinburgh are, as near as makes no difference at our altitude, on the same 3°W and change line of longitude. A Celtic conspiracy if ever I saw one.
