RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - El Car - 27-08-2015 Positive status update: 7 wins in 7 games 4 cup ties successfully negotiated 25 goals scored for only 4 conceded Wins against both of our expected main rivals for the Championship After 3 league games: 6 points ahead of Hibs; 7 points ahead of St. Mirren Clean sheets in our last 3 games Fierce competition for places in the midfield and forward positions among a number of players in form I might have to shut this thread down at some point if this continues. It'll become totally redundant. ![]() RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - Trusevich - 27-08-2015 (26-08-2015, 11:24)El Car Wrote: That's a pretty ridiculous actual-content-of-article to headline ratio, even for the DR. For those who can't even stomach looking at it, Kiernan basically said they hope they can score that many in any given match, and if everything clicks in the side and everyone hits top form, we might create 25 or so chances and score 8 or 9 in a match at some point. They're that embarrassed about it themselves, they've issued a retraction: ![]() RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - El Car - 27-08-2015 I've just realised what I said made no sense and it reads more like I was backing the DR up. ![]() It was meant to be: "Kiernan basically said they hope they can score 8 or 9 in any given match, and if everything clicks in the side and everyone hits top form, we might create 25 or so chances and score that many at some point." RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - TheWorthinGer - 27-08-2015 Couldn't believe it when I read it. See what happens when monkeys play with word processors. RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - supercooper - 28-08-2015 25 was surely a conservative estimate ![]() RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - Trusevich - 08-09-2015 Some positive thoughts from the Raith Rovers game: Quote:Goalkeeper Distribution Ratings: http://therangersreport.com/2015/09/05/analytical-match-report-rangers-5-raith-rovers-0/ Just emphasises the huge difference a simple footballing ethos -and having the players capable of implementing it - can have on a team. And let's not get carried away here - these players are hardly world-beating internationalists. What they are though is competent young athletes - with a few rising stars mixed in - with the right attitude, working to a plan that clearly benefits all concerned. Build from the back, retain possession and be controlled and patient. Dominant football. Intelligent football. The best thing of all though, is that we're only just beginning to see what can be achieved. RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - Trusevich - 08-09-2015 And here's a rather splendid video from the Rangers YouTube channel, featuring Marvin Andrews with some stirring words during commentary on Saturday. Has to be said as well, the brilliant slo-mo videos and the new YouTube channel have been two fantastic additions to the media output of the club this season. RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - TheWorthinGer - 08-09-2015 Oduwa, at one point he turns the defender inside with the mere suggestion of something or nothing. Glad I don't have to play against him. RE: The 2015 Thread of Relentless Positivity (negative comments will be removed) - Larry-AV - 13-09-2015 I have received a request on NOT606 - Rangers to ' Lose the Hearts lion wee man ' ![]() My reply : It's nowt to do with Hearts, Moses, but a lot to do with Scotland and by extension, Rangers. The Rampant Lion of Scotland (first image above) has been the hallmark of the Villa crest, thanks to the influence of William McGregor & George Ramsay.
