I'd say we do need another keeper but what does that say to the young Aussie currently playing as back up to Nicholls, at some point you have to give the young ones a go.

Going back to Matty Daly, If I were Hartlepools I wouldn't be right impressed with how Town have gone about all this. It's reported up in Monkey Hanging Land that we recalled him due to injuries and then we farm him out to the biggest underachievers in the League. Just doesn't show us in a good light if you ask me

Kieran Phillips has just tweeted his goodbyes to Walsall.

Hope he's not getting sent to Bradford as well. Whistle

Seeing as we seem to be struggling to sign anyone, I'll hijack it a little bit and ask, what currently playing ex town players would you resign and why?

Matt Crooks. We never got to see what he could do and now he's done the rounds of the lower leagues and the Scottish Premiership, and now he's back in the Championship. He's doing a grand job with Boro.

Seems like we are signing tino anjorin from chelski on loan. He's been playing in Moscow the first half of the season. The Yorkshire weather will be like summer for the kid

As for old players to resign, obviously there's mooy who would be a god send to this team, I think Norwood would be a good third midfielder now, I didn't overly rate him when he was here, but he's not done too bad for himself since.

Something is not right with Mooy. Why did he go to China, apart from the obvious monetary rewards? And why has he hardly played, apart from the obvious covid stoppages?

He played last time out for Shanghai port, I'd love for him to be back

and now Tino Anjorin has signed on loan for the remainder of the season...but he's currently injured.

I wonder if this could turn into something more permanent, his previous loan out in Russia had a right to buy clause in the deal which would suggest Chelsea are open to offers further down the line
