RE: Burnley in t' cup - theo_luddite - 08-01-2022 I meant Brum, but that's a good trawl through the history books Snoots. RE: Burnley in t' cup - Lord Snooty - 08-01-2022 Oh yes. See what you mean now. We can beat them when they're in a league above us, but can't when we're in the same league. ![]() RE: Burnley in t' cup - Lord Snooty - 08-01-2022 Well as good as our result is, it's way down in the list of shocks. Highlights on here..... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59911314 RE: Burnley in t' cup - theo_luddite - 08-01-2022 FA Cup YouTube highlights also available - don't hold your breath they are remarkably similar to the Beebs highlights. RE: Burnley in t' cup - Lord Snooty - 09-01-2022 Beat a Premier League team in the FA Cup and we're still last on Match of the Day. RE: Burnley in t' cup - SHEP_HTAFC - 09-01-2022 That's a great result against a Premiership team at almost full strength. I'm always meh when it comes to any cup game for Town.....but I must say i'm excited now about the draw. A crap team at home and we can progress.....an away draw v a big team a good pay day etc. Either way we'll end up with Charlton away or something crap. RE: Burnley in t' cup - Baggiebob(BBB) - 09-01-2022 WELL DONE YOU GUYS, WELL DESERVED. HOPE U HAVE A GOOD DRAW TODAY. I'LL BE ROOTING FOR YOU NOW WBA ARE OUT OF THE CUP. ![]() RE: Burnley in t' cup - Lord Snooty - 09-01-2022 Barnsley at home then. Great chance to progress further. RE: Burnley in t' cup - theo_luddite - 09-01-2022 Somehow I don't see Town v Barnsalee as a first choice tellybox fixture. Our League match v Direby will need to be shifted to midweek though. Another one I won't get to. What was that £5/ticket for the next home game? Yeh, OK if you've not paid north of £10/game as a season ticket holder. RE: Burnley in t' cup - Lord Snooty - 09-01-2022 Yes, they need to make it a fiver each for the Cup game. |
